Happy New Year! (A day late)

This year, my "resolution" is not only to attempt a healthier lifestyle (the same thing I attempt and fail every year), but also to update this thing here more often. As in, more than once a year!

So much has happened in 2011 and I need to document it before the details slip from my memory.

So where to start?

Progress on the house?
THE wedding?
The honeymoon?
The PUPPY?

Here goes nothing!

14 days

In just fourteen days, Kyle and I will officially be homeowners. I couldn't be more excited. The seller even agreed to let us pick out new granite and appliances. Even though I won't be moving in until after the wedding, I've got the place decorated and designed in my mind and I can't wait to make it a reality! And Kyle better keep the place spotless!

PS, anyone want a HUGE Magnolia tree? It HAS to go! :)

Spoken For

I woke up this morning with this song in my head. I couldn't stop singing it all day. But it wasn't one of those songs that get stuck in your head and drives you crazy to the point of insanity. Instead, I actually wanted to hear it more. So I turned on my iTunes at work and put it on repeat. For HOURS. As a result, I was in the best mood all day. It's amazing what a little positivity can do.

Engagement Party!

I am lucky to have some of the most awesome friends and family a girl could ask for. Last weekend, my MOH, childhood best friend and family hosted an engagement party for Kyle and I at my parent's house. It was AWESOME seeing how many people love and care about the two of us. Here's a few pics from that special evening:

I came accross this picture the other day while cleaning and I can't stop looking at it! When did this sweet little baby turn into....THAT??

So close, yet so far

So I'm not technically a Looper...yet. But I will be in exactly 227 days and I cannot wait! I've found my best friend and the love of my life, and guess what? I get to marry him!

And so here it goes: My countdown from a Morris to a Looper...and the time can't go by quick enough!

In the meantime, I'll be wedding planning, house hunting, and day dreaming about the future.

I can't wait to walk down that aisle. I can't wait to say, "I do". I can't wait to honeymoon in the Bahamas. I can't wait to buy and decorate our first little house. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with that man.

What I do know for certain is this: I am one lucky girl and I can't wait to see what God has in store for our lives.
